However, you are adding value and convenience by providing a range of answers in a single document.
Most people don't like to read large documents from the Web, so unlike long essays, articles tend to be around 400 words long. If you break the article into an introduction, a small number of sub-headings and a conclusion you may only have to write about 50 words in each section. The sub-headings may be for authoring purposes only, but if they are relevant they can be left in the final article.
The first draft should be for your eyes only. Don't try to produce a final copy as you write. It tends to be much quicker to get your thoughts down and come back to edit later. The final step in the writing process is to proofread your article making sure that the writing flows and would be interesting to the reader. 7 Things to Consider Before Starting a Network Marketing Business


Why bother getting involved in network marketing?
Well, a good, honest network marketing business can easily double or triple the average income. However, if you fall into one of the common mistakes of new, error-prone network marketing business owners and entrepreneurs, you will cripple your chances of success.
Here are a few points to think about as you seek the right home business or network marketing opportunity.
1. Is the network marketing company a good fit for you? While the ability to make a good income is important, one of the first things you should look at is how YOU feel about the company and its products. If you have questions or just don't understand the product or service, ask. It's fine if you need clarification. However, if you just don't see the need, feel that the customer is going to be scammed or just can't get a handle on the product or service yourself then you will probably have a hard time promoting the company or its product line enthusiastically. There's a learning curve to every thing. At first, your expectations of making a lot of money may be very small. As Tom "Big Al" Schreiter asked in one of his books, "They train burger flippers, don't they?"
NOTE: On the reverse side of this, the first two network marketers I ever knew personally did not begin making a significant income until they had each been in their respective businesses for about three years. During that time, they both came close to quitting because of the small returns they were experiencing. Somewhere in the period between years three and five, they each reached a point in which they were making more than $100,000.00 a month.

Are they emoting about all the great money you "will" make, or are they explaining the possibility of building an independent business? On the flip side, the person you are talking to is not necessarily the best representative the company has. I recently encountered a situation in which an extremely honest and reputable network marketing company got slapped with a lawsuit as a result of outrageous recruiting claims by one of their reps. The claims that were being used to build a fantastic downline for this individual went completely against company policy and made the company look like it was just a pyramid scheme.
NOTE: Don't turn down someone's offer just because THEY haven't made any money at it yet. As soon as you sign up, you will be in their shoes. Almost everybody above you was in the same position at one time. However, if they can show you that they are making money from product sales; this is a good sign, even if the money is still small. A reputable company should have no problem with you talking to the people in the recruiter's upline. I signed up for a company several years ago under a very nice man who was hardly making any money at the time. The man who recruited him, however, was making a very good income and was working very hard to help his sales team produce the sort of results he was experiencing.
4. How were you recruited? Most network marketing occurs through...well...networking. This doesn't mean that ads are never used, but if you answer an ad in a magazine, unless the company is well known, you might have no way of really knowing anything about the company.

Corporate brand has a longer life as compare to other resources with in the company. For example Coca Cola the brand is much older then the plants and location used to make it. By signing up and providing clear, consise and intelligent answers to people's questions then you are beginning to build a reputation for yourself as someone who knows exactly what they are talking about. This will mean people will trust your judgment and you will become more reputable.
One last thing that I probably shouldn't advise on Yahoo is that there is a section after you have answered a question where you can list sources. This is something that is frowned upon by members but as long as you are offering an unbiased and in depth answer to their question no one is going to mind if you stick a link to your website. This means driving targeted traffic to your website and building up your website rank by having more links to it.
Don't forget about the real world

It is important to know your local area and who knows you might even drum some business-to-business trading which can have huge value for you! Plus, it's not unheard of for businesses to begin an informal partnership. Sometimes if they are in a similar market and get a customer that asks for a particular service they don't offer but you do...well you get the point that it could send a steady trickle of customers your way. Remember this would have to work both ways or the other business would just know you were taking advantage and stop.

Send a quick message out to all of your friends and ask them to like or view or Tweet about your business and from then on, only contact those who chose to do it and leave the rest. This gives you a small target to spread your word so send out a update as and when you can to keep people clued in with what you are offering and what new things they can read about. Soon, you may find that you have a high number of followers/likers/or whatever they might be called that advocate your business or even become customers.
Promotion, Promotion, Promotion
Creating events for to showcase your business is a great way to have an interactive, hands-on presentation for your prospective customers, but be wary of the obvious risks. Without proper marketing of the event then how are people going to find you? If it is somewhere that people can easily see you from the street and come in then it will generally cost more. A way to boost your numbers and reduce costs is to include other businesses in your area in with the event and tie them all together (you may get funding or support if you are all new start ups) but then remember that your message and marketing efforts may become quieter amidst all of the other businesses competing for their attention.
No one knows your business like you do, so just weight up the pros and cons and think about whether you will be able to get enough people there, if you can afford it and if you have the time/capacity to organise it all (and remember, it need to be perfect!).
Be aware of falling into a trap that claims many young businesses! Pricing yourself out of a market is a quick way to go bust, and that works down as well as up!

Rather than focusing on making money, we want to focus on how our product or service can benefit others. The question should be: How can we add more value, in our customer's eyes? Only then will we truly be able to find success in our business transactions. Again, if we focus on the money we will get, then the message we are giving out is not congruent with a feeling of abundance from which we will receive abundance. It must instead be too mindful of a lack of money, which will only manifest more of that lack of money. It is important to our success that whatever our businesses offer, that the customer perceives more value in that than what they have to part with (money) to get it. we must take the time to learn what our target market wants and then make the effort to market that to them. Once a sale is made, we should follow-up to ensure that our customer is happy with the purchase and absolutely rectify any problems. A satisfied customer will be a repeat customer, supplying free word of mouth advertising. An unhappy customer can do significant damage to a business' reputation and its potential to maintain or increase sales.
This information is not new to many of us. So many of the business and self-help books tell us all of this information. What begins to become amazing is that this information has been communicated to us in different ways from different people pretty much since the beginning of time. Bob Proctor refers to a Judge Thomas Troward's work in the early 1900s, about the same time that Wallace Wattles was writing his book "The Science of Getting Rich". The Science of Getting Rich is the book that Rhonda Byrne's daughter gave to her resulting in "The Secret" movie, book, website and so on. As legend has it, The Emerald Tablets referred to in The Secret do come from the beginning of time. So we would do well to take heed of all this advice. We are being told this for a reason, and no negative consequence will result. The outcome is amazing to all that practice it on a daily basis.

Why should you bother to start your own home based network marketing business?
Would you believe me if I told you that I would want to start my own network marketing business because it is fun way to make a living?
Maybe you want to be like those people you have heard about who are already in network marketing and are making the kind of money you have only dreamed about. Fun's okay, but you want to make money, right?
Sure, you've heard those claims and wonder if it is true.
Well, I am one of those people, and I am here to tell you that it does happen. There are a few things you should know about this field, however before you jump in with both feet.
If you are willing to do the WORK involved, it is possible to make a good deal of money in network marketing. At the start of this little essay I used the term home based network marketing business. What a lot of people who sign on the dotted line with some network marketing company forget is that last word...business.
Where there is a business, there is work, whether the business is home based, a franchise, or a traditional store front. Too many people see only the part about earning lots of money and forget the fact that somebody has to do the work. If it is their business, they have to go to their job regularly. Even worse, they are now the boss AND the employee.
The good news is that once you get your home based business established, you can see good paychecks rolling in month after month. Not only that, since most network marketing ventures are also multi-level marketing (MLM) companies, many people push their business until it reaches what I and a few others call the tip-over point. This is the point at which the business seems to take on a life of its own and does a lot of growing simply as a result of the size it has grown to, and the momentum it has gained from your efforts and those of your downline.
SOME NEGATIVES ABOUT HOME BASED NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESSES
Let's go back to the term "home based" for a moment. There are some positives and some negatives here.
First of all, most people trying to start a home based business already have a job and other responsibilities that they must tend to daily. This means that the time available to grow their business is going to be limited. Therefore, even with the best product, best promotions, and most skillful management, growth is going to be slow. This is discouraging to many people, and, in fact, is a major reason many people drop out of home business ownership.
If time is at a premium, so is money in most cases. If you buy into a home based business and can afford to buy billboards along major traffic routes across the country, full page ads in major magazines, or the services of a full-scale promotional agency, you have a great chance of doing well. If, however, you can only afford a few business cards and a couple of ads in the local newspaper, things are going to be slow.
Then, there is the learning curve, particularly in a network marketing business. Most people know little about sales and are very hesitant to try to "sell" things. They often lack the confidence to even let people know that they are involved with a network marketing business.
SOME POSITIVES ABOUT HOME BASED NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESSES
If you DO have a job, you probably need to hold on to it to keep income coming in and perhaps to hold on to benefits. If you open a store somewhere, you will probably have to commit yourself to that store and might not be able to hang on to your job. With a home based network marketing business, however, you will be able to start part time, work around your schedule, and hang on to your job for the income and benefits (and don't forget the networking opportunities) while you grow your new business.
You can usually start a home based business for a lot less money than a traditional brick and mortar business or a franchise. This makes it easier for the "ordinary person" to get one started. The network marketing model allows for low cost "advertising" if done properly. Just to give you one example, I am a member of a website called meetups.com. One or two times a week I get together with other members interested in the same things I am and invariably wind up presenting my product or business opportunity to others attending. Quite often, I find that someone I have spoken to has referred me to someone else.
The downside of not putting a whole lot of money into your home based business is that it is easier to call it quits. One of the major factors for success in a home based network marketing business is the willingness to stick with it. Too many people are actually on their way to success when they pull out simply because it is easier to do that than to stay with it. If they DID have large sums tied up in a store or franchise at least that might be an incentive to stay the course.
In a home based network marketing business, there is a learning curve, just as in every new job you started. Remember those first few days when you didn't even know where to stand to get out of everybody's way? Did you ever tell a customer something and later find out that you had said exactly the wrong thing? Have you ever stood there with a totally blank mind when a client wanted answers? Have you ever gone home at night and spent the evening thinking about all the screw-ups you made during the day. Did the boss ever chew you out for doing something wrong? Have you ever gotten ready to go in to work, filled with dread that you were going to catch it for yesterday's goof...or even worse, get the axe?
I'M READY FOR THE "FUN" YOU MENTIONED
As the boss and the employee of your own home based business, you will make plenty of mistakes. Trust me on that one! However, as the boss, you can be forgiving, and as the employee you can learn without fear. If you mess up today's presentation, you can make a better one tomorrow. If you forget the facts and figures today, you can study them tonight. Tomorrow is a new day, and the boss is only going to be as hard on you as you are on yourself!
If you are network marketing properly, then you will often be talking to someone you know and like, and who knows and likes you. In someone else's business, a slip-up with a client or potential client can be professionally fatal. In a network marketing environment it is something that can possibly be laughed at WITH the person you are talking to! Just recently during a presentation to a group of acquaintances, I got my tongue tangled up beautifully. I made a joke, we all had a laugh, and I finished my presentation and then fielded several questions from interested parties who weren't the least bit put off by my momentary faux pas.
If selling terrifies you, then a home based network marketing business is perfect! The true secret in network marketing is the networking. If you have a good product or service, there will be people interested in it, and, if they feel comfortable about you, they will be asking YOU to PLEASE tell them about it. If people see YOU making money with your business, some of them will be interested in getting involved.
If you want to start a home based network marketing business just to make money, go right ahead. With the right motivation and work ethic you can do well. You will be missing out on the fun of meeting new people, going places, doing things you've never done before if your only motivation is money and your method is direct selling.
However, if you learn to network with a wide range of people, making new friends, helping people solve problems, giving back to your community, and living life to the fullest, you can experience the real thrill of network marketing at its best.
